Our Board and Staff are integral to realising our organisational vision.

Board
The Federation Board is made up of representatives from each of its member Traditional Owner Corporations.

Rodney Carter

Rodney is a descendant of Dja Dja Wurrung people and resides at Bendigo in Central Victoria. He currently works for his people, the Dja Dja Wurrung as the Group Chief Executive Officer of the Dja Dja Wurrung Clans Aboriginal Corporation and the Dja Dja Wurrung Enterprises Pty Ltd.

A defining moment for Rodney was negotiating the Dja Dja Wurrung people’s native title settlement at 2013. Rodney was a member of the Dja Dja Wurrung negotiation team that negotiated a settlement agreement with the State of Victoria over a period of three years that resulted in his people signing a ‘Recognition and Settlement Agreement’ on the 24th October 2013 with the State of Victoria.

Paul is a Gunnai and Monaro man with a long involvement in reconnecting individuals and communities with language, culture and identity.

He has held several executive roles and directorships including as the Executive Officer at the Victorian Aboriginal Corporation for Languages and as a Director on the Board of First Nations Legal & Research Services.

Paul is committed to building on the Federation’s success as a key organisation that strengthens the voice of Traditional Owners in Victoria. He brings his knowledge, skills and networks to work closely with Traditional Owners across the State to support their aspirations for community and Country whilst taking up the challenge for self-determination and Treaty.
